Orthopaedic assessments diagnose injuries or disorders affecting the skeletal system, joints, ligaments, and muscles.

During an Orthopaedic assessment, multiple tests are performed to gauge the strength and mobility of affected joints and muscles, such as physical examinations, x-rays, and MRIs. The clinician will also typically ask the patient to discuss any past injuries (or medical conditions) they have had and review any current conditions that may affect their mobility. In some cases, the patient may also be asked to keep a written record detailing their most noticeable pain symptoms.
